There is a beautiful sadness in pain. It is so very apparent in this song by Camille Lellouche. I also noticed how she centers herself just moments before she begins to sing, which I think is beautiful as well.
I have been meditating a lot and I love how it works for me, every single time. I also love how it gets easier to do in just about any circumstances, what a beautiful gift that is.
My own pain is nothing like hers, it's more like this at the moment because my mom is at the end of her life. She went to the hospital by ambulance two days ago, and came home the same day, but she's in a lot of pain. So now all we can do is make her as comfortable as possible and just love on her with everything I have in me to give, while making sure I have saved a bit of that energy for myself first..
Unfortunately pain is a part of life, and it brings with it its lessons as well. Music is such a beautiful prayer, I feel it speaks directly to one's soul.
